Laguna Lang Co in Hue
Designer – Sir Nick Faldo
Par 71 | 18 Holes | 6958 yards
Par 71 | 18 Holes | 6958 yards
Winner of six Major championships, 40 tournaments and with a stable 98 week run as world golfing numero uno, Sir Nick Faldo received a royal knighthood for his contributions to golf and the British honour he has brought. It is with these hefty qualifications that he has begun designing his own courses, and Laguna Lang Co Golf Course, his second development in Vietnam, does the Faldo name proud.
The beauty of the course lies in its complexities, managing to pack in an array of different game terrains – woodlands, creeks and rivers, rocky protrusions, rice paddies, sands and blowout areas. It will be an inspiring and challenging course, able to be adapted to varied skill levels.
Laguna Lang Co golf course is found at the heart of the Laguna Lang Co Resort complex which encompasses Banyan Tree and Angsana Lang Co Resorts. This means golfers can experience exceptional spa, dining and beachfront experiences when they are off the lawns.

Montgomerie Links in Da Nang
Designer – Colin Montgomerie
Par 72 | 18 Holes | 7100 yards
Par 72 | 18 Holes | 7100 yards
Scottish golf pro, Colin Montgomerie, lends his experience from a record eight European Tour Order of Merit titles in creating the award-winning grounds of Montgomerie Links golf course. His main mantra is to follow the natural character and movement of the site one is working with for a golf experiencing that really accentuates a sense of place. In this case, the place is the stunning greens and blues of Central Vietnam.
Located just 15 minutes from the international airport, the Danang location makes it easily accessible and a perfect choice for golf holiday-makers. The holes are precisely manicured, the fairways undulating in visually pleasing arches, the 30 bay driving range is state-of-the-art and the modern, well-equipped clubhouse provides a perfect vantage point for views out across the course to the Marble Mountain highlands beyond.
Their 12th hole that spans 527 yards, while not considered a “signature shot” as such, will be a favourite for all, voted the Vietnam’s best par-5 hole by Vietnam Golf Magazine in 2009.
All skill levels can be catered for, so none should shy away from the chance to test this fantastic course.

‘The Dunes’ Danang Golf Course
Designer – Greg Norman
Par 72 | 18 Holes | 7176 yards
Par 72 | 18 Holes | 7176 yards
Australia’s golfing hero, Greg ‘The Shark’ Norman, is the mastermind behind the Dunes course at Danang Golf Club. Golfers here will swing and putt their way through a unique landscape of sand dunes and beachside coastline. In between holes you can look out and marvel at the beauties in the distance – either the Cham Islands out at sea, or the inland Marble Mountains.
An easy 15 minutes from Danang International Airport, and also close to the historic centre of Hoi An, visitors will be immediately impressed with the golf club’s facilities and amenities. The sprawling 353-square metre clubhouse’s impressive interiors and exteriors stretch seamlessly into the surrounding ebbs and flows of hillsides and dunes, providing a perfect midday dining stop or a place to soak up the sunshine with a cool drink in hand.
In particular, make sure you take a moment at the 16th hole (par 3) to enjoy the signature view out over the ocean. It is most certainly a highlight of the grounds. For those practicing their swing at the driving range, you’ll also have an unbeatable outlook over the mountains.
