What makes Vietnam become more and more attractive to foreigners recently? The answer would absolutely be not only its beautiful sceneries but also its people and culture. Of course every local area has its own specialties and unique and coming to Vietnam, you are always astonished with its deeply imbued ethnic identities. Here we go! Let’s find out what is waiting for us there!
Day 1: The first day in Hanoi – Vietnam’s heart (-/-/D)
On arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you are met and transferred to hotel. Ha Noi, Vietnam’s capital, is one thousand year old city with peaceful lakes, French styled buildings, old quarter streets, tree lined boulevards, brightly painted temples and pagodas. (If time permits) we enjoy a short cyclos ride around the old quarter streets to see the different local ways of life. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 2: Going to the proudest land of Vietnam – Ha Long – one of the wonders of the world (B/L/D)
Transfer to Halong. Committee of the World Heritages of UNESCO in 1994 recognized Halong Bay as a natural heritage and famous for its spectacular scenery of grottoes and caves. Upon arrival in Halong bay we board our Junk for the overnight boat trip. After lunch we begin our fantastic cruise in Halong Bay. The scenery is truly breathtaking and is continuously changing. This includes a visit to Sung Sot Cave, round over Tuan Chau Island, Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island, Sail Island and a swim at Titov beach. Enjoy dinner on board while watching the sunset.
Day 3: Returning Hanoi and then visiting the ancient capital – Hue (B/L/D)
After an early breakfast we continue our cruise to visit Man‘s Head island, Tortoise Island, Bai Tu Long Bay, Toad Island and Bai Tho Mountain. Upon our return to Halong city we have lunch on board, and then board our transport back to Hanoi in the afternoon to take a flight to Hue.
Day 4: Spending all day in dreamy Hue City (B/L/D)
The elaborate tomb of Emperor Tu Duc and the beautiful pagoda of Thien Mu are not be missed. Today we include these in a guided boat trip on the Perfume River which also provides us fantastic views of the countryside and an enjoyable visit to the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes as well as the Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. Overnight in Hué.
Day 5: The next destination Phong Nha – good chance for jungle adventurers (B/L/D)
Have breakfast at your hotel then we transfer to Phong Nha, Ke Bang National Park by car. Phong Nha-Ke Bang is one of the world’s two largest limestone regions. The over 200,000 ha of parkland includes beautiful limestone formations, grottoes and caves, and boasts lush forestland covering 95 percent of the park area. Then leave for the wonderful view of Phong Nha cave along Son river by boat, through the forest and river, stopping to visit Cung Dinh, Tien, Bi Ky caves. The driver will transfer you back to Dong Ha town for having lunch at the restaurant.
Then, visit Dakrong bridge, Ho Chi Minh trail, Paco minority village and Khe Sanh Combat Base. Back to Hue to enjoy the Imperial folk song while cruising on Perfume river. Overnight in Hue.
Day 6: Going on to the next area – Hoi An (B/L/D)
Morning drive to Hoi an. On our journey we make stops at the sensational Marble Mountains and the display of Cham’s sculpture. The scenic route passes fishing village of Lang Co before through Hai Van tunnel. Overnight in Hoi An.
